Dancehall deejay Mavado teenaged son was found guilty of murder on Wednesday in the Home Circuit Court in Kingston. The 18-year-old was also convicted for illegal possession of a weapon as well as arson.

Brooks and his co-accused Andre Hinds, who was also convicted on the charge were taken into custody following the home invasion killing of Lorenzo Thomas in the community of Cornpiece on June 5, 2018.

The two who are remanded in custody will be sentenced on March 10.
