Bajan artist Rihanna dubbed the overachiever of the decade

Barbadian international singer Rihanna has more than earned the respect of her peers when it comes on to her work ethics and the overwhelming success she is chalked up musically.

The singer according to reports online is now working on not one, but two albums simultaneously – one of them reggae and which she has been toiling over for almost a year now and the world was alerted to it via a Vogue interview in May.

According one of her producers who held back their identity, the singer has about 500 songs for the project from different producers and writers – hence the ‘overachiever’ description.

Sources also reveal that among the producer RiRi is looking at are Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor son of the Big Ship captain himself Freddie McGregor; Linton ‘TJ Records’ White, and Skrillex and Boi-1da.

Word is that Rihanna is pulling out all the stops to ensure that the album remains authentic and is up to her usual standards.

The other album that is in the works for the singer is a pop one and it’s left to be seen what that one will entail.

No release date has yet been set for the albums.
