Fatal Radiohead stage collapse being investigated in Toronto

Nearly seven years ago, the stage collapsed at a Radiohead concert that was held in Toronto. One man was killed.

An inquest is now being conducted into the stage collapse and the father of the man killed is hoping it will finally bring some closure. 

According to Vic News the father, Ken Johnson spoke outside the inquest that began Monday, Ken Johnson says he has thought of his son, Scott Johnson, every day since the incident that claimed his life on June 16, 2012.

Scott Johnson was Radiohead’s drum technician and he was killed when the structure fell down on him moments before the band was set to take the stage at Downsview Park.

The inquest will examine the circumstances around Johnson’s death, but will not assign blame.
