Jamaica launches anti-harrasment campaign to improve visitor experience

Jamaica’s Tourism Product Development Company Limited (TPDCo) has launched an anti-harassment public awareness campaign aimed at boosting visitor experience.

The three-month long campaign is geared at sensitising stakeholders on the impact of harassment in the tourism sector, which is expected to improve visitor safety and create a positive experience visitor experience.

The campaign, which kicks off today, will use all channels necessary to generate, exposure, and potentially change perspectives, attitudes and behaviours of destination residents.

The campaign will feature a television advertisement, a jingle, bumper stickers, social media campaign, incorporation of the TPDCo-created short film “Cum Yah” in sensitisation, and trainings and placement of campaign information on the TPDCo website.
