Jamaican international deejay Buju Banton who touched down in Trinidad on Friday for his I Am Legend concert tour had a rude welcome from the twin island.
The Deejay, after visiting friends in that island and returning to his hotel, had the Trinidad and Tobago police descending on him with a claimed search warrant.
The the world was alerted to what took place in his room when the Banton himself posted on his Instagram account. Check it out:
“I’m chilling in my hotel room and the cops came to check me, a whole bunch of them saying they got a warrant to search my room and all kind of stuff. I just want you to know that no matter what they can’t break us, we see what’s going on and we just want you to know whats going on… We see what they are planning, how can you obtain a search warrant for a hotel room on a Saturday?”
The police commissioner for that country has since apologized to the artiste.
