There is good news for Reggae Girlz top striker Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw who has signed a contract with US-based sportswear company NIKE.
World-renowned sport agency A&V Sports to which she is signed announced that the Jamaican is the brand’s newest ambassador.
No details were posted by the agency on the contract, only a photo of the 22-year-old footballer on its website, parading in a Nike-branded tee and holding a pair of Nike’s Mercurial boots, welcoming her to the ‘Nike family’, with the caption: “Geared up for the summer. How about the new cleats @bun_bun10? Welcome to the @nike family, Bunny!”
Shaw who attends the University of Tennessee was instrumental in the Reggae Girlz qualifying for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, she was also her school’s top scorer in the NCAA Championships with 27 goals in 32 matches.
