Revla Is Determined To Make In The Music Biz

Dancehall artiste Revla is ready to take his career to the top of the local music industry.

The talented deejay who hails from Portmore, St. Catherine is confident that he has what it takes to be the next big dancehall star.

“I know for a fact that I am one of the most talented new artiste in Jamaica and I will be a major force in Dancehall music very soon,” said Revla.

Revla is currently promoting his recently released single titled I Know on the Jack Dennis Production label.

“This song was released in 2018 but it didn’t get any real push. It’s a song that I believe in a lot and now that I am in a position to promote it properly am doing so. The response to it has been very positive so far, it’s getting a lot of airplay,” said the artiste.

The hard-working entertainer recently shot a video for the single. The video was filmed at various locations in Waterhouse under the direction of the Kreative Klique. It is scheduled to be released before the end of July.

Revla is currently working on projects for several local labels including Echo1 Productions, Crush Dem Records, Jack Dennis Production and Team Steel Muzik.

Revla was born Ronique Shaw, he’s a past student of Waterford High School. In 2012 his talent was recognized by British DJ Toddla T who visited Jamaica that year to interview promising new artistes for his radio show which is broadcasted on London’s BBC 1Xtra.

Revla was among a group of artistes that were interviewed by Toddla T and participated in his Freshman Freestyle feature.

He launched his career with the release of single titled Start It on the Miller9 Records imprint in 2013.
