Reggae Boyz Damian Lowe has joined the beaten MLS finalist Philadelphia Union.
After one year with the David Beckham-owned Inter Miami FC, the 29-year-old finalised the transfer on Wednesday.
Lowe’s transfer to the union will cost $225,000 in 2023 general allocation funds and a first-round draught pick naturally available in 2024.
The centerback suits Philadelphia Union’s present needs, according to Sporting Director Ernst Tanner, and the team will benefit from his athleticism and quickness throughout a season that will need lineup and formation adjustments.
For Inter Miami, Lowe made 28 appearances and scored once. 50 times have he played for the Reggae Boyz squad.
