Jamaican sprinter Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce kicked off her 100m season in impressive fashion, clocking a time of 10.82 seconds to claim victory at the pitzen Leichathletik Luzern meet in Switzerland.

Despite not getting her customary lightning-fast start, Fraser-Pryce took control of the race midway and sprinted ahead to break the meet record of 10.91 seconds, set back in 2002.
