Topmann ready to perform at Sting

One of the acts scheduled to appear at Sting on December 26 is Topmann. After being absent from the entertainment scene for almost seven years, the event is back. 

2022 has been a fantastic year for newcomer Topmann. In addition to having a breakout hit with Gyal Code, he also gained notoriety in the neighbourhood dancehall scene.

On Boxing Day, Sting will perform at Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in St Ann. Skeng, Jahshii, Christopher Martin, Etana, Shane O, Kraff, and Jada Kingdom are among the performers.   The singjay claims he has handled his sudden celebrity nicely.

Topmann, whose real name is Jamario Hines, comes from Catherine Hall in Montego Bay, St. James. Prior to enrolling at The University of the West Indies, Mona, he completed his education at Cornwall College. He is currently pursuing a management studies major with a psychology minor.

If music hadn’t worked out for him, Topmann claims he would have been a professional football player. He also states that his family has been encouraging of his music career.

Producers like Troublemekka, DJ Mac, and Papi Don Muziq are among those he has collaborated with.

His most recent songs are Dutty Foot Fren and Cash Ready. Today sees the release of the new single Toxic.
