Gunmen killed a British man and wounded others in St. Lucia

Masked gunmen opened fire at a St. Lucia club late Saturday night, killing a British man and injuring many others. The popular restaurant incident prompted an inquiry. 

According to authorities, Donnie McKinnon, who administers the Soufriere Estate on the island, and his friend Peter Jackson, a 72-year-old photographer, were on Steve’s Bar’s balcony when the shooters arrived.

McKinnon succumbed to his injuries, while Jackson, who has been residing in St. Lucia for roughly 30 years, has been brought to the hospital. It’s also stated that other folks were also hurt. 

The police have informed the public that a statement on the progress of the inquiry would be made shortly.
