Husband and wife killed during robbery in Guyana

A 67-year-old man and his 65-year-old wife were found dead in their home in Black Bush Polder, Corentyne, on Tuesday. Guyana police are looking into their double murder.

According to the police, the couple, who had a small shop, had many injuries on their bodies when they were discovered. Subnauth Budraj, the husband, was found with his throat cut, while Sarasuati Budraj, the wife, was found with several knife wounds.

The property had been attempted to be burned down after the double homicide, according to police, who suspect they were the victims of a heist.
