Staying Active and Healthy with Kamilla McDonald

As we close out the month of May which we deemed ‘Get Active,’ we have saved one of the best features for last – one of Jamaica’s beacons where health and fitness are concerned – Kamila McDonald. 

As one of the leading health and fitness professionals and TV personalities from Kingston Jamaica, Kamila once struggled with weight, and is now committed to motivating and inspiring others to experience the highest quality of life through healthy living.

She began building her health and fitness brand after openly sharing her health and weight-loss transformation.  She then became certified as a personal trainer and sports nutritionist and began teaching fitness classes in various locations and running nutrition workshops.

In 2017, she published her first book ‘Wake Up And Live’ A mind, body, spirit approach to lifestyle change. In 2019, on the heels of the success of her first book she published a second book ‘Kamila’s Kitchen’ with over 100 Healthy, Jamaican-Inspired recipes.
