Teejay Says Dancehall Artist Request US$5,000 For A Feature

In an interview with DJ Norie, Dancehall artist Teejay revealed that some fellow dancehall artist demanded up to US$5000 to collaborate with him on his debut album.

Teejay’s album was set to be released in August 2021 and would feature collaborations with an international artist and producers Damage Musiq and Slingaz.

Grammy winner Shaggy, suggested that underrated artists in Dancehall may be intimidated by other artists who feel threatened by their talent.
